On a Sporting KC match day or a Kansas Speedway race weekend, the roads, lots, and entrances around the Legends work completely differently than they do on a Tuesday. The rest of KCK has its own rules too. Hospital campuses control their own parking and building access, and manufacturing and rail sites run on shift schedules and gated entrances.

Every one of those is normal for KCK. All of them mean the route that worked for one event isn't always the route that works for the next.

That's where vendors lose time in KCK. They plan the drive once, they don't know the site, and the entrance they counted on is closed for the event. Our event director checks the Village West event calendar and the site's access rules before every KCK booking and builds extra time into load-in.
